PROMETHEUS Consortium meeting

The PROMETHEUS Consortium met this Wednesday (11th) and Thursday (12th) of December, at Fraunhofer IWS facilities in Dresden for the 12th Month Meeting. In a near future our end-users, CRF, JJVC, Arçelik and Maier, will have the chance to start seeing their products textured! Isn’t it amazing?

Bear with us and get to know the latest news on PROMETHEUS 📰
Our pan-European EU consortium of world leading industrial and research partners will develop key enabling component technologies to deliver the next generation in high power ultra-short pulse laser surface processing.

PROMETHEUS, which has also received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program, will develop an integrated laser processing demonstrator as an objective of the project. This demonstrator system will be capable of delivering a broad range of surface functionalities onto metals, polymers and ceramics.

Special thanks to Fraunhofer IWS for being such good hosts 🙏🏻

The PROMETHEUS consortium wishes you a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2020!
